The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Party

Hunstanton Primary School will be hosting a playground party to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
on Friday 27th May 2022.

All the children will be offered a free lunch consisting of the following menu:

Ham triple decker sandwich

Cheese and cucumber triple decker sandwich (v)

Pizza pinwheel (v)

Chipolata sausage or vegetarian sausage (v)

Bag of crisps

Fresh strawberries & decorated shortbread biscuit

There will be no other food provided by the school kitchen on that day, if you do not wish us to provide this lunch, please let us know by Friday 20th May

There are copies available in the lobby and also, for pupils in FS, Year 1 and Year 2, the tick sheet menus (green). Please leave your completed menu sheets in the box in the lobby or email us your choices.

KS2 - Junior pupils - years 3-6

The cost of a school dinner is currently £2.30 for children in KS2. Pupils order their lunch each morning during registration and can choose from the main meal, vegetarian option or a school packed lunch. Alternatively, pupils can bring a packed lunch from home.

If you think your child may be entitled to free school meals, please contact the school office.

FS & KS1 - Infant pupils - Reception, Year 1 & 2

Pupils in FS and Year 1 & 2 are entitled to a hot free school meal as part of the government scheme providing free school meals to infant age pupils.

Parents are able to pre-order a school dinner via the menu selections sheets which are sent out to parents by email when the menu changes. Paper copies are available in the lobby. Each day there is a choice of main meal and vegetarian option or jacket potato. Alternatively, pupils can bring in a packed lunch from home.

Packed Lunches

Children not having a school meal should bring a packed lunch. If you include a drink, please do not send fizzy drinks or drinks in a glass container.  Children have access to fresh water.  Please avoid including chocolate, sweets or other unhealthy foods as part of your child’s packed lunch.

Some of our pupils have a nut allergy and to avoid any problems at school, please do not include any items containing nuts in your child's packed lunch.
