This week, on World Ocean Day, year 4 pupils had a visitor who came to talk to them about oceans and seals.

Pupils made natural wind chimes from items they found on the school field such as pies cones, feathers, flowers and wood.

Pupils worked ingroups to design and make board games involving times table and they played the games.

Differences and Similarities

Pupils were exploring the idea that people are the same yet all have different hair colour, personalities or families, for example.

Field School - May 2021

One group were building the tallest tower from sticks, masking tape and string. Another group made a picture from natural items found on the field and the third group traced leaves from the trees around the field.

Pupils made Roman Mosaics from plaster of Paris and tiles

 Maths - pupils used cereal rings to help with multiplication and division

 Iron Man - pupils investigated clues to work out what had happened and what our next English text would be
